Booklet imposition
Reader pages in, press sheets out, creep from the paper caliper.
Saddle-stitch and perfect-bound imposition for digital duplex or offset: the document decides the book size, spreads are placed with creep, sections of 8, 16 or 32 pages for glued or sewn books with the spine width worked out, crop and fold marks at the sheet edge.
The problems it removes
- Booklets that come out with the wrong page pairs after folding.
- Inner pages creeping out past the trim on thick paper.
- Marks drawn across the spread.

- What about page counts that are not a multiple of four?
- Blank pages are added at the end and the plan tells you how many.
- Does it handle bleed?
- Yes, per page from the TrimBox, and each page is clipped to its own half of the spread.
