Numbering
Receipt books, tickets and NCR sets numbered so every pile reads in order.
Upload one receipt, ticket or coupon; PrintFiles imposes it on the print sheet and numbers it cut-and-stack, so after the guillotine every pile is a consecutive block. Books, plies, prefixes, suffixes, padding, and a Code 128 or QR code under every number.
The problems it removes
- Sorting thousands of numbered slips by hand after cutting.
- Receipt books where numbers jump between plies.
- Numbers printed too close to the trim.
Questions
- What is cut and stack?
- The numbers are laid so that after one cut through the whole stack, pile 1 reads 1 to N, pile 2 carries on from N + 1, and so on. No sorting.
- NCR sets?
- Up to six plies, grouped by paper or interleaved for mixed trays, all carrying the same numbers.
